We set off about 9.15AM,Ricky, Mini Rick, Tommy & I, and 3 lad's
we met on the morning, (Left to right), H, Dave & Bob.
First thing that was really apparent was the boat felt half empty,
even though there was 7 fishing!
Tommy thought he was on the Cat Walk!
The lad's
After steaming for an hour or so to a small reck near the winfarm,
bob was 1st in with this superb Scorpian Criter.
Whilst messing taking criter piccy's, my rod was bouncing away,
and in came a full string of whiting.
Then Tommy had this.
And Mini Rick had this.
then this.
.
It was'nt long before we realised who's day it was.
With Mini Rick catching both the biggest and the most of the Whiting & Dab's.
Even after a move closer inshore, he just kept catching throughout
the day!
Nice to see the young fella having such an enjoyable day, as we
did'nt expect much at all with the time of year.
Anyway it turned out to be really good day, with a touch of
unexpected sunburn thrown in as well.
Can't wait to go again, as this new Supreme is so comforable to
fish off, also looking forward to the winter Codding on this our
new Winter retreat!!!
